You'll be under close observation as you recover from the anesthesia. When your surgeon is satisfied with your progress you will be able to go home. You will get a prescription for pain medication and instructions for you to take home. Plan on resting for the remainder of the day. For the next few days don't plan on drinking alcohol, or operating any kind of heavy machinery. You may be drowsy from the medication.
